For the Bachelor Introduction Days you can choose between a 5 days programme or a 2 days introduction programme with a focus on getting to know VU Amsterdam, your studies and the faculty. The Faculty organises a programme introduction for all new Master’s students. Alongside presentations by the academic advisors, Career Services and the University Library, the study associations will also introduce themselves, and Amsterdam Law Forum will give a short presentation.

During this introduction, important information will be shared to help you get off to a good start with your studies. We strongly recommend attending this session, especially if you completed your Bachelor’s degree at another university. If you previously studied at VU, you are of course very welcome as well: some of the information will be familiar, but there will also be new elements.

In addition to this general programme introduction, there will be separate meet-and-greet moments for the different Master’s programmes and specialisations.

So make sure to save the dates in your calendar!

AUREUS MASTERDAY

Study Association Aureus invites all prospective Master's students* to join Masterday 2026! The day will begin with a welcome address by our Dean, Mirella Kleijnen, followed by a panel discussion featuring Career Services, Academic Advisors and Aureus. Next, you will get to know your fellow students and learn more about VU Amsterdam through an exciting pub quiz. The afternoon will conclude with drinks on the Zuidas provided by Aureus.
