Artificial Intelligence and Governance

The Master's in Public Administration at VU Amsterdam trains the next generation of ambitious public administration students. The rise of algorithmic governance requires trained experts well-versed in the theory and practice of governance as well as tech-savvy. You will be at the forefront of the latest iteration of the technological revolution in governance.

The Master's in Public Administration at VU Amsterdam has five tracks, four in Dutch and one in English. Each takes a different substantive focus. Our English programme focuses on a topic of high societal relevance: Artificial Intelligence and Governance. This programme is taught fully in English.

In the Master's in Public Administration at VU Amsterdam, you will focus on governance and public policy issues from various perspectives. You actively seek ways to make public governance function better, looking at substantive solutions, methods of analysis and advice. Theory is never separate from the practice of policy, management and organisation.
