Artificial Intelligence (AI) has many potential applications – in healthcare, banking, transport, entertainment and more. In this programme, you will learn not only about the technology behind AI, but also about its application in society.
Why study Artificial Intelligence at VU Amsterdam?
- Choice between two tracks: choose Socially Aware Computing – with a focus on how AI can make a difference in people's daily lives, or Intelligent Systems, if you are more interested in the programming side of AI.
- International: The course is taught in English, so there is a mix of students from all kinds of countries.
- Interdisciplinary: research at VU focuses on Human AI and Hybrid AI. Human and machine intelligence complement each other excellently. Computer science and social science go hand in hand.
- Also a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence: after the Bachelor's degree you have access to, among others, the master's degrees in Artificial Intelligence and Information Sciences at the VU.
