VU Bachelor's Day - 6 & 7 November 2026

Which degree programme is right for you? Come and find out. Choosing what to study is not always easy. Explore more than 50 Bachelor’s programmes, meet students and lecturers, join programme sessions and take a look around our campus in Amsterdam.

VU Bachelor’s Day

Friday 6 and Saturday 7 November 2026

Explore degree programmes, experience the atmosphere and ask your questions

What can you do at the VU Bachelor’s Day?

  • Get a feel for student life
Start your visit by hearing directly from VU Amsterdam students about their studies and student life. What is university actually like? What surprised them when they started? And what do they wish they had known when they were choosing a degree?
  • Explore the programmes you are interested in
Join sessions for the Bachelor’s programmes on your list – or explore one you might not have considered before. Lecturers, current students and graduates will tell you more about what you will study, the subjects you will take and what studying the programme is really like. Some programmes also offer a sample lecture or workshop, so you can experience it for yourself.
  • Ask your questions
Wondering about a particular programme? Admission? Studying abroad? Student life? Or simply what a normal week looks like? Talk to students, lecturers and VU Amsterdam staff at the information market. This is your chance to ask questions you cannot always answer by reading a website.
  •  Not sure what you want to study yet?
That is completely fine. You do not need to arrive with your decision already made.  Join one of our study choice workshop to think about what interests you, what is important to you and which programmes might be worth exploring further. Parents are welcome too.
  • See where you could be studying
Take a campus tour and see VU Amsterdam for yourself. Walk through the buildings, see where lectures take place, find the study spaces and get a feel for the campus you could soon be spending a lot of your time on.
  • Find out what happens outside the lecture hall
University life is about more than your degree. Meet study associations and find out more about sport, culture and other activities you can get involved in alongside your studies.

Want to start exploring now?

You do not have to wait until November. Log in to My Study Choice, select the VU Bachelor’s Day and explore Campus Online. You can watch programme videos, get a better idea of what you will study and take a first look at student life at VU Amsterdam. Cannot make it on 6 or 7 November?

There will be another VU Bachelor’s Day on Saturday 6 February 2027. You will have another chance to explore our Bachelor’s programmes, meet students and lecturers, ask your questions and experience the VU Amsterdam campus for yourself.
