VU Bachelor's Day - 7 February 2026

Do you already know what you would like to study? Whether you have no idea yet or already know exactly which study programme is the perfect fit for you, at the VU Bachelor’s Day, you will discover the study programme that suits you best!

Come to the VU Bachelor's Day on Saturday, 7 February, from 9 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. CET. Register for the open day via the My Study Choice portal and select the information session(s) you would like to attend.

During the open day, you will be introduced to one or more of our 50 bachelor's programmes. Attend information sessions about programmes, visit the information market, take a tour and talk to our students, lecturers and staff.

Whichever programme you choose, at VU Amsterdam you will discover what moves you and how you can make a difference with your interests and talents. Your unique experience, background and personality will lead you to different insights and new ideas. In this way, you will not only develop your own talent, but also make a scientific and social contribution.

Our Bachelor's Open Days take place in November and February. After the open day on 7 February, the next open days will not take place until early November.

Register now for the open day and participate in the information sessions, workshops, campus tours, and sessions for international students. Visit the various information markets and ask students and lecturers your questions. Check out the full schedule with sessions and register now, because some sessions fill up very quickly. After registering in the My Study Choice portal, you will receive a confirmation email with your admission ticket.

You are the focus of attention during the open day on our campus. Each programme organises one or more information sessions and is present at the information market. Ask students and lecturers all your questions here. There are also all kinds of extra activities, guided tours, study choice workshops, and you can discover everything about student life. We are happy to help you find out which programme suits you best!

What can you expect?

There will be plenty to do throughout the day: information sessions about study programmes, sessions hosted by our international office, and guided tours of the VU campus.
Ask our students, lecturers and staff all your questions at the information market, so you can hear first-hand what it's like to study a particular programme.
As an international student, you can ask all your questions about visa, housing and living in Amsterdam directly to our International Office on the information market or at one of the International Office information sessions.
In addition to studying, you will also learn everything there is to know about student life at VU Amsterdam! Think of our study associations, the sports you can do at VU Amsterdam, or our extensive cultural offerings – from theatre to creative painting!

Access Campus Online

On our online platform Campus Online, you will find extra information, study programme videos and documents. In your My Study Choice account, select this activity to gain access and view all extra content and information at your leisure.

The programme

On Saturday, 7 February, we start at 09:00 am CET and end at 04:30 pm CET. The information market will be open all day. Besides that, there will be five information rounds. Check the full programme with all planned sessions.

How to reach our campus?

The Bachelor's Day will take place at the VU Campus. The various buildings are within walking distance of each other. The Main Building is located at De Boelelaan 1105, 1081 HV in Amsterdam.
Our campus is situated in one of the most dynamic and fast-growing business districts in the Netherlands and is just a 10-minute train ride from the international airport Schiphol. The lively and multicultural city centre of Amsterdam with the largest concentration of students in the Netherlands is just a 15-minute bike ride from our campus.
The best way to reach our campus is by public transport. Use Google Maps to plan your route.
Sessions for international students

Our international office hosts an information session, especially for international visitors. You will get information about studying at VU Amsterdam and living in Amsterdam.
In the overview of sessions, you can find these sessions via the filter 'Other'.
Information market

At the different information markets, you can ask questions to our staff, lecturers and students from your favourite Bachelor's programmes. They can give you information about study programmes, application procedures and studying at the VU. You can also learn more about student initiatives you can join during your studies at VU Amsterdam: Green Office VU, Project VoorUit, A Broader Mind, and Community Service Learning.
The stand of our International Office will be present in the Main Building for all your international student-related questions.
Information sessions

During the information sessions, lecturers and students, and alumni will tell you everything about their Bachelor's programme. While you are making your schedule, make sure you have some time left to visit the information market.

Campus Tour

Let one of our students show you around the VU campus. They will be happy to tell you how they use the many facilities that we have here at one location.
In the overview of sessions, you can find these sessions under Other.
How do I register/ save the date?
Follow the steps below to register/ save the date for the open day:
1. Go to the My Study Choice login page
2. Depending on whether you are already a VU student, follow 1 of the steps below:
  1. I am a VU student:
    
    Choose to log in with your VUnetID and follow the steps to log in.
  2. I am not a VU student, but I already have a My Study Choice account:
    
    Choose to log in with a My Study Choice account and then log in with your account details.
  3. I don't have a My Study Choice account yet
    
    Choose the option to create an account.
    
    Then click on 'Create account' on the login screen.
    
    Enter the requested information, verify your email address and create your account.
    
    Then log in with this information.
3. On My Study Choice, you will then see the Bachelor's Day(s) under study choice activities.
4. Click sign up and follow the steps.
5. My Study Choice will always be accessible from now on if you log in via the login function at the top right of the VU website.
