Thinking about health, care and wellbeing is often disease-centred, hospital-oriented and physician-centric rather than person- and community-centred. As a result, care systems are often ill-equipped to meet the challenge of doing more with relatively less. Redesigning systems requires a different logic, a way of thinking and acting in which health, care and wellbeing become an integral part of life rather than a series of disconnected encounters with the healthcare system. The Health Lab aims to bring together researchers and societal stakeholders who are inspired to explore and contribute to the transition to sustainable, high-quality, person-centred and accessible care. The Lab focuses on three I’s: Institutions, Identity and Innovation.
