The Training programme Participation at VU supports members of participation councils in developing knowledge, skills, and confidence to actively contribute to educational governance.
The programme equips students and employees to understand institutional structures, collaborate effectively, and translate their voices into meaningful institutional change.
Participants learn how to:
- Navigate university governance and decision-making structures
- Understand their rights, responsibilities, and mandate
- Develop policy plans and strategic initiatives
- Facilitate collaborative and democratic processes
- Advocate for educational quality and innovation
The programme combines trainings, reflection sessions, and practical workshops designed to support representatives throughout their mandate.
