Senior Teaching Qualification (STQ)

Are you eager to boost the quality of academic education? Are you working at the cutting-edge of cross-curricular projects or educational innovation? If so, the STQ programme could be the challenge you are looking for. This programme leads to the Senior Teaching Qualification (STQ). It provides proof of your ability to lead educational innovation at curriculum level.

Working together to develop education
This programme gives you the opportunity to work with experienced colleagues on educational development and innovation. You will learn how to lead both the educational and procedural aspects of that development. You will also gain a clearer vision of the diverse roles often taken on by an experienced teacher: developer, connector, coordinator, mentor, visionary and strategist.

Who is it intended for?
This programme is intended for experienced university teachers (who hold a UTQ) working on educational renewal and eager to take on a leading role.

Find out all about the exact details of the programme leading to the Senior Teaching Qualification (STQ).

Especially for teachers at universities of applied sciences, we offer group programmes for up to eight participants leading to the Senior Teaching Qualification. Email ctl@vu.nl.
