What does following the module give you?
In this module, you will participate in lectures covering the fundamentals of risk management (including COSO ERM Integrated Framework), Corporate Governance (including Governance codes), structuring an organisation on the basis of management frameworks and typologies (including Tolmodel and Levers of Control), monitoring, reporting and auditing (based on the Audit Theory for external and internal accountants).
You will also learn to consider and manage compliance and integrity risks in the context of structuring organisations and risk management with regard to strategic and operational goals. The premise is that compliance and integrity are integral parts of an organisation's risk management that is integrated into its business operations: assessing risks, formulating policies, internal control (including monitoring), internal and external accountability, and internal and external auditing. In this semester, the relationship between risk management, corporate governance, and the organisation's culture will be addressed. Additionally, some specific themes will be covered.
