“I chose this course because I really enjoy theater and wanted to learn how to better captivate students and keep them engaged during class. I learned how to convey the content of a lecture in an engaging way, thereby ensuring that students actually learn something. I apply the skills I learned daily in the trainings and teaching I do. For example, I make sure that I use non-verbal communication to reach the people at the back of the room by using a lot of intonation and making gestures larger. My advice to future participants who are still in doubt is to take the course! It's also great fun to do this as a team."
