Caring Universities is a national initiative to which VU Amsterdam is affiliated.
Caring Universities offers free e-health programmes to help students' mental health. For VU employees who are in contact with students but do not have the possibility or capacity to support them mentally, there is the option to refer to this.
Students can come to them with various problems such as procrastination, stress, mood problems, self-confidence and sleep problems. There are several programmes available online and students can follow them anonymously and under the guidance of a personal coach.
