On 16-20 January 2023, CICJ researchers offer the first VU Graduate Winter School on Accountability for conflict-related crimes in Ukraine (online), giving the opportunity to examine the variety of legal and policy responses that have been deployed in response to the ongoing war in Ukraine.
Over five packed days, participants, guided by prominent scholars and practitioners of international criminal law, will analyse the role of domestic, regional, and international legal instruments and institutions, including alternatives to criminal justice. Expect to be challenged, and to come away with your own ideas about the conflict and current responses to it.
