Summer school 2022 concludes

Share
18 July 2022
From 4 to 15 July 2022, CICJ hosted a group of 25 enthusiastic students from all over the world in its summer school, after a pandemic-induced break of two years.

The students followed a two-week introductory programme on international criminal justice, with lectures on anything from the ICJ institutions, evidence, sentencing, to corporate involvement in crime, transitional justice, and domestic universal jurisdiction prosecutions. Three practitioners, working at the International Criminal Court (ICC) and for a national jurisdiction, gave guest lectures, and the students visited the ICC and the Kosovo Specialist Chambers in The Hague.

The summer school ended on Friday 15 July with presentations of the group work that students had prepared and a graduation and farewell.
