What actually happens to learning when students increasingly use GenAI? And how can you prevent convenience from leading to less deep learning? In this session, you will discover how targeted pedagogical choices can strengthen the learning process.
At the end of the session, you will be able to:
- Explain how GenAI influences learning processes (e.g. cognitive offloading).
- Describe and justify pedagogical strategies that mitigate negative effects of GenAI on learning.
- Evaluate pedagogical choices regarding the use of GenAI within your own teaching.
