GenAI & AI literacy for teachers: an introduction

In this workshop, you will explore what AI literacy means for your own role within your teaching practice.

You will become familiar with relevant frameworks and insights and translate these into your own educational context. In addition, you will reflect on your own position and capabilities regarding GenAI and identify next steps for your further professional development. 

  • At the end of the session, you will be able to: 
  • Explain what AI literacy means for you as a teacher and why it is relevant within your own teaching practice.
  • Analyze components of frameworks such as the AI-GO framework and relate them to your own teaching practice.
  • Describe the main dilemmas surrounding the impact of GenAI on learning, teaching, and assessment.
  • Reflect on your own knowledge, attitudes, and skills regarding GenAI and identify areas for further development.
