Understand the political process and its outcomes

Political Science: Democracy, Power and Inequality

Do you want to understand the growing loss of confidence in global leadership or the rise of populism? Curious about the future of democracy or the EU? Interested in the causes of persistent economic and political inequalities, or how digital technologies are reshaping democracy? If so, our specialization in Democracy, Power, and Inequality is perfect for you.

The specialization Democracy, Power, and Inequality delves into institutions, power, democracy, and representation. It equips you with the tools to analyse how societies are politically organized and how this impacts policy-making and the distribution of income and wealth. You'll gain insights into the dynamics of power and representation, the role of democracy, and the effects of different political structures on decision-making and society. Special attention is given to the international repercussions of national decisions.

The start date of this programme is September 1st.
