You will examine why some democracies remain robust while others are susceptible to backsliding. You will learn about the different channels that social groups can use to influence political decision-making and why do so more effectively than others. The programme also examines how new digital technologies are changing democratic decision-making. And you learn about the different ways in which states address the inequalities between the rich and the poor.
Through a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical research skills, you'll be well-prepared to tackle the pressing political challenges of our time.
