VU Master's Event - Saturday, March 7

Are you already working on your next step after your bachelor's? Or do you have no idea what master's degree you will pursue? Then come to the VU Master's Event on our campus on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 10:30 am - 3:00 pm. This is the day to discover which master's best suits your interests, future plans and talents and the perfect opportunity to experience whether VU Amsterdam suits you.

What can you expect during the Master's Event?

During the VU Master's Event on our campus, you will be introduced to our programmes in an accessible and relaxed way. VU has more than 200 master's programmes, so there is bound to be something between them that suits you.

Make the most of this day with the following:

  • Attend information sessions where faculty and students take you through the content of the study programme.
  • Ask all your questions, from subjects to future prospects.
  • Talk to students at the information market and hear how they experience their master's.
  • Get your bearings on (pre-)masters if you're coming from the hbo.
  • Are you an international student? Join the session of the International Office and get info on visas, housing and studying in Amsterdam.

In addition, you can immediately taste the atmosphere on campus and find out if VU is a place where you feel at home.

The Master's Event on Saturday, March 7, 2026, is the last Master's Event we will organise this academic year. The next Master's Event will take place on Thursday, November 26, 2026.

  • How do I get to VU Amsterdam?

The Master's Event takes place on and around the VU Campus. The various locations are within walking distance of each other. The address of the Main Building is De Boelelaan 1105, 1081 HV in Amsterdam.

The Master's Event is best reached by public transport or by bicycle. Amsterdam Zuid station is about a 5-minute walk from the VU campus. Trains and metros stop here, while trams and buses stop right next to the VU. Plan your route to Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam via Google Maps or 9292ov and take any roadworks into account.

We advise against travelling by car due to the limited number of parking spaces around the VU and the fact that parking is paid.
