A consortium led by the Psychology and Psychiatry Departments of the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and with participation of the Quantitative Data Analytics (QDA) group of the VU has been awarded an NWO Gravitation Grant.
The project is called Stress-in-Action and capitalizes on the fast advances in technology and big data analytics to move stress research from the lab to daily life. The QDA group will be responsible for the data analytics core and will work on innovations and applications in the area of machine learning in the project. Other project partners include the Amsterdam UMC, University of Groningen, Groningen University Medical Center, University of Twente, Erasmus University Medical Center, and Utrecht University. The project will run for 10 years and has a budget of around 20 million euros.
