You will develop your own informed position on the role of GenAI in society and what this means for education and future professionals.
At the end of the session, you will be able to:
- Explain how different perspectives on GenAI (techno-optimists, techno-realists and techno-critics) relate to one another.
- Analyze the arguments and assumptions behind these perspectives and identify the key differences and tensions.
- Formulate well-reasoned positions on the societal role of GenAI, including implications for education and future professionals.
