In this workshop, you will become familiar with the basic concepts of GenAI and the concept of AI literacy. We will explore what students need to know and be able to do in order to use AI responsibly and effectively in their studies.
At the end of the session, you will be able to:
- Describe and distinguish key AI concepts.
- Explain what AI literacy for students entails and why it is relevant within your own teaching practice.
- Identify and analyze common misconceptions and concerns surrounding GenAI.
- Discuss these concerns with your students in a constructive manner.
