Expectations are high that generative AI will be the solution for automatically grading open-ended questions. After all, generative AI can do so much, right?
Initial experiments show that it only works effectively when implemented thoughtfully. Various technical and contextual factors play a role in the quality and acceptance of this process.
Experts from the academic world will come together this afternoon to exchange updates on their progress. Which experiments are being conducted? What are the results, and what can we learn from them to ensure the use of AI is both productive and acceptable for users and in line with legislation?
Four case studies will be presented.
