An overloaded and fragmented curriculum is undesirable for both students and teachers. Overload creates stress and makes teaching and learning less effective. It is better to do less, but better. In this workshop, you'll learn how to do that.
In a balanced study programme, the elements are well aligned and do not contain unnecessary overlap. The curriculum is not an obstacle course full of tests and it ensures that students do not get lost in overly specialized and fragmented subjects. A good programme focuses primarily on the sustainable application of basic knowledge and skills.
In this workshop "Creating space with Marie Kondo," we'll discuss basic principles for a studyable and uncluttered curriculum. And we'll discuss how you can implement it in your own programme from a change perspective.
