  Official VU Graduate Winter School Opening

  Monday 9 January | 09:00-09:30

  In this session you will get to meet the team: Bianca, Celia, Helena and Mark who are going to be your contact people during the course. We will go over what the week ahead holds for you and will give you all the necessary information for it to be a success! We will discuss common questions and inquiries and clarify any doubts you may have regarding the upcoming week. You will also get a chance of interacting with the team and your fellow students and start to network! Come say hello and make yourself known, this is the first step to engaging with others and preparing for a successful winter school course!

  Networking Coffee Breaks

  Wednesday 11 & 18 January

  Coffee breaks are an opportunity to gather, connect and meet others! Here we will be available to answer any pressing questions you may have as well as give you the chance to network with your peers. The format will vary between open questions and smaller group discussions to keep things interesting. Don’t miss out!

  Workshop on Effective Online Presenting

  Thursday 12 January | 16:30-18:00

  How do you present yourself effectively online? How do you engage clients and colleagues through a screen? How do you move people to action from afar? How you present yourself online today, will impact where you are as an individual, team and company in a few months time. In this interactive webinar you will learn how to differentiate yourself online. We will focus on the 5 success elements of online presenting: technology, story, slides, presence and interaction.

  Online Escape Room

  Monday 16 January | 17:00 - 18:15

  Want to get to know your fellow students better? What better way of doing so than by playing along with them to solve various puzzles together in this interactive online escape room. As our winter school is online, we wanted to incorporate an activity that will enable you to spend time with other participants and bond while takin on a challenge together where you will have to solve riddles in order to escape different rooms! Will you share your unique skills to contribute to the winning of your team? Don’t miss out!

  Closing Drinks

  This is the perfect opportunity for you to round up and close what we hope has been an intense and satisfying week! We would like to invite you to our final goodbye where we all connect one last time before we wish you farewell. Come and share with us your experience as well as your future plans!
