Dutch for expats and international employees

VU-NT2 offers language courses to learn Dutch at all levels for highly qualified expats and international employees. From group courses in Everyday Dutch, Dutch for Work and Study and Dutch for Work and Study SPRINT (for those whose first language is German, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian or Afrikaans), to incompany training and individual courses for professionals. The vibrant VU campus is located at Zuidas, Amsterdam's business district.

As a student at VU-NT2, you will learn the language you need to enjoy living and working in the Netherlands, from beginner to advanced (A1 to C1). You practice speaking and listening a lot and quickly feel familiar with the basic phrases for everyday use. The group courses give you the opportunity to expand your network with people of different nationalities and backgrounds, which makes learning Dutch even more fun.

In-company and tailormade
VU-NT2 organizes tailor-made training at VU Amsterdam as well as in-company courses for companies and organizations with international employees. We offer a variety of in-company programmes that are suitable for all levels, from beginner to higher level proficiency, and for groups from 5 to 25 participants.

All our group courses can be given as in-company courses. Also, if the standard course programme does not entirely fit your wishes and demands, we will offer you a customized course that will match the ambitions and current proficiency of the course participants.
