In the Master's programme in Linguistics, you will explore these questions and more. You will learn to analyse the learnability of languages, describe languages and even combine language with artificial intelligence. You will become a language expert who is specialised in one of three areas:
Without language, there is no communication
How do children learn their mother tongue? How do non-native speakers learn a second language and what are the best teaching methods? What is involved in teaching a computer a language?
Discover your Linguistics programme
During the Master's programme in Linguistics, you will learn to analyse how languages relate to one another. This skill allows you to describe relatively unknown languages. You will also examine which aspects of better-known languages are easy or difficult to learn. The programme focuses on different target groups such as children with dyslexia and multilingual adults, as well as computers that need to learn a human language.
