Courses and programmes

Bachelor
We teach courses and supervise theses in the Dutch Law Bachelor's programme and the interdisciplinary Bachelor's programme Law in Society.
In particular, we offer two minors:
- Law and Global Society: Internet, Migration and Climate Change
- Globalisation impacts the way we live. We meet different people, learn about diverse cultures, and internet facilitates world-wide communication and information exchange. Law traditionally focuses on nation states, but topics like migration, internet, climate, and terrorism do not stop at the border. Quite the contrary. The objective of this minor is to become aware of the fact that many societal issues ask for a transboundary approach to law.
For further information about this minor, please visit the site of the minor Law and Global Society.

- Algemene rechtspraktijk (Dutch)
For further information, please visit the site of Algemene rechtspraktijk minor.
Besides, we teach the following courses:
- Fundamental Rights in Europe
- Migration law and the nation state
- Global migration governance
- Law and Global Society: Internet, Migration and Climate Change

Sarah van Walsum Lectures
In honour of our late colleague Sarah van Walsum, the ACMRL hosts an annual lecture in recognition of her significant contributions to migration law, family relations, and gender studies. Each year, the lecture is delivered by someone who knew Sarah and explores a topic she would have found fascinating.
