In the first semester of the third year of your Bachelor’s degree programme, you can widen the scope of your studies during your elective space. Also, some Master's degree programmes offer this option. The opportunities vary per degree programme. You can find more information in the Teaching and Examination Regulations (TER) of your degree programme or in the Study guide. In certain situations you may need approval from the Examination Board first.

The rules regarding electives may differ per faculty.

There is no room for electives within the Bachelor's and Master's programmes of the Faculty of Dentistry (ACTA).
