The VU participates in and leads collaborative research on randomized controlled trials (RCTs) on scalable psychological interventions for common mental disorders and future projects.

In addition to the above-mentioned research programs, part-time researchers within the Clinical Psychology section work on the following research themes:

Metapsy: Meta-Analytic Database of Psychotherpay Trials

Metapsy: Meta-Analytic Database of Psychotherpay Trials

Pim Cuijpers: 'We have mapped all our knowledge about psychological treatments in the Metaspy.org database over the past few years. It has become a huge domain containing everything we know worldwide from randomised effect studies on treatments. The objective is: what do we know, and what do we not yet know? And how can you change things, minimise them, offer them differently or, for example, create alternative treatments?
