Digital examination

Though pen and paper are still frequently used for exams, at VU Amsterdam you can test digitally using different variations and combinations of software.

For digital examination, VU Amsterdam uses:

  • TestVision: This is the standard exam application at the VU. TestVision allows teachers to create test questions themselves, possibly collaborate with other teachers and fully compose and prepare tests. Grading (open) questions is very easy using this software. TestVision can be used in combination with other software such as SPSS, R Suite or Matlab.
