Besides the VU-wide educational apps and tools that are often integrated into Canvas, there are specialist programmes, to support lab research, for example. The range of these apps depends on the faculty.
The following faculty-specific apps are available:
- Labster (Science): online virtual lab environment
- LabBuddy (Science): online lab notebook
- CodeGrade (Science and SBE): online coding learning environment
- Grasple (Behavioural and Movement Sciences): online statistics and mathematics exercises
- SOWISO (Science): online statistics and mathematics exercises
- TrainTool (Social Sciences): online conversation practice tool
- Dialogue Trainer (Behavioural and Movement Sciences): online conversation practice tool
