Her practical example is about activating students to consider differences and similarities between them by using VU mixed classroom strategies. How can those differences and similarities help them study successfully as a group? Anna also regularly shows them photos of her family to emphasise what really is important in life. This makes the teaching more relevant for the students and easier to connect with Anna as a person, instead of seeing her as just the lecturer.
