  • Support with information sessions

    VU Amsterdam is pleased to assist in organising information sessions for your students. We offer various options, including:

    • A presentation at your school about our Bachelor’s programmes and life at VU Amsterdam;
    • Organising a visit to the university, including a campus tour;
    • Being present at an information fair ur university fair at your school;
    • Hosting an online information session.

    If you’re interested in any of these activities for the upcoming school year, please contact us at international@vu.nl (for international schools in the Netherlands and schools abroad) or scholen.mc@vu.nl (for Dutch schools).

  • Advice from the International Office

    The International Student Advisors (ISAs) of the International Office are here to help with any questions regarding the application procedure, admission requirements, and any other information related to studying at VU Amsterdam as an international student.

  • Visiting our campus

    Campus visit with your class
    We are happy to welcome student groups for a short presentation and campus tour. These visits are available year-round and can be arranged by contacting us at international@vu.nl. Please include your school name, the number of students attending, and your preferred date and time. Individual visits (for example from one student) can be arranged via our International Student Ambassadors.

    Bachelor's open day
    You can point students to a VU Bachelor’s Day during their study selection process. The Bachelor’s Day gives them the opportunity to meet students, teachers and academic advisors during the information market. They can also get information about the application process, money matters, living in the Netherlands and Amsterdam, and studying abroad.

    Taster Day
    During a Taster Day or Student for a Day at VU Amsterdam, students spend a day or part of a day as a guest at the study programme(s) of their choice. This gives them a more complete picture of the programme(s) and contributes to their general impression of the university, its teachers and students.
