Our alumni can be found all over the world. More than half of our graduates continue to work in academia. They will work as a researcher or PHD in laboratories or universities around the world. The other students often hold top positions in the corporate world, private research facilities and ministries.
From minds to society
What can you do after your Master's degree?
Start working or pursue an academic career
As a graduate in Social Psychology, you’ll have an excellent academic background for several careers. You’ll be well equipped to do advanced PhD work: many of our alumni conduct research and teach at universities or colleges. They work not only in Psychology departments but also in Cognitive Science, Business, Education, Political Science, Justice Studies, Law, Health Sciences and Medicine.
Learn how to pursue a non-academic career
Alternatively, you could consider a job in the private sector – as a consultant, researcher, marketing director or manager, for example. As a psychologist, you could also choose to start working for the government or non-profit organisations, designing and evaluating policies or programmes in areas like education, conflict resolution and environmental protection. Our Alumni work in a broad variety of fields: Ministries, Business, Education, Municipalities, Justice Studies, Law, Research institutes, HR manager and Consultancy.
