When do you choose for the pre-master's programme?
The pre-master’s is for you if you have a university education, but do not quite meet the requirements of the Bioinformatics and Systems Biology Master’s.
NB: Direct application to the pre-master's is only available for Dutch students.
If your study was in HLO / HBO Life Science courses (University of Applied Sciences (HBO) bachelor’s degree), we strongly recommend that you take the pre-master's programme. It is also recommended that, if you have covered fewer than two of the key preparatory subjects (molecular biology, programming and mathematics) in your university Bachelor’s, that you take summer courses or the pre-master's before starting the MSc in Bioinformatics and Systems Biology.
