Interested in Clinical Life Sciences & patient-oriented research?

This research master offers you a challenging program!

The master Personalized Medicine is a two-year international research master program of 120 ECTS. The program aims to train (bio)-medically oriented bachelors and related bachelors in Life Sciences to become independent researchers with in-depth knowledge on different aspects of clinical and translational research, imaging and personalized medicine. The start date of this master program is September 1st.

  • Are you interested in Clinical Life Sciences, Personalized Medicine and doing patient-oriented research?
  • Are you interested in working in a multidisciplinary environment?
  • Do you enjoy working with people who challenge each other to attain the best results?
  • Would you like to become a bridge builder between the clinic, scientific research and technological development?

If so, this program was made for you!

This program is taught within Amsterdam UMC, mainly at location VUmc. In the first year, you learn all about the different aspects of clinical and translational research, medical imaging and personalized medicine necessary to set up and carry out scientific research. After finishing the first four compulsory courses, you can specialize yourself in the direction of medical imaging or technological development (two specialized courses). In the second year, you will be able to focus on what interests you and what the subject of your major internship will be.
