How do we deal with the enormous amount of data produced on a daily basis, all over the world? What can we do to prevent election results from being hacked? How can we keep our interaction with computers understandable?

During the Bachelor Computer Science at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, you will be trained as an expert in the underlying technology of computer systems.

Discover your Computer Science study programme

During your Bachelor of Computer Science, you will acquire a broad foundation of knowledge about computers and how they work. The lectures and assignments are challenging and are delivered by teachers who combine teaching with high-quality research. You will study mathematics and logic and learn to code in different languages. You will also immerse yourself in security and network technology. The programme has an international character and is taught in English.
