Moving towards a healthier future

Vital at VU Amsterdam

Training Working vitally and menopause

Menopause is a natural stage of life, but its impact on work and well-being is still often underestimated. There are currently around 2 million working women who are 40+. Of these, 80% experience menopause symptoms such as palpitations, migraines, joint pain and difficulty concentrating. Research shows that due to shame and lack of knowledge, these complaints are often not discussed at work.

That is why VU Amsterdam organises the training 'Working vitally and the menopause': an interactive and informative session on the influence of hormones on your body, your energy and your functioning.

Workshop Healthy lifestyle

Being healthy is more than not being sick. It's about having energy, being comfortable in your own skin and resiliently dealing with everyday challenges.

In this three-part workshop series, you will discover how relaxation, nutrition and exercise - each from its own perspective - together form the basis for a healthy lifestyle and the prevention of disease.
