Sustainability Office VU serves as the central hub for the execution of our sustainability strategy, led by a dedicated team responsible for implementing sustainability initiatives across research, education, valorization, and operations. We aim to promote collective engagement throughout the entire VU community, ensuring that sustainability is firmly integrated into our organization, and its significance is clearly conveyed to everyone within the VU community.
The sustainability team works on making our education, research, knowledge transfer and operations more sustainable and to activate our community. Our mission is to contribute to a positive impact on people and planet. We do this by, among other things, working to increase the offer of sustainability education, making business processes more sustainable and by connecting students and researchers for sustainability research.
