The academic staff is divided into departments. Departments are headed by a professor/department head.

  • Faculty Office

The Faculty Office supports the director of operations, the Faculty Board, the academic departments, the programmes and the various committees.

  • Faculty Ethics Review Platform (FERP)

The Faculty Ethics Review Platform (FERP) is the advisory body of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities on matters relating to research ethics review and scientific integrity.

FERP consists of a chairperson (the vice-dean of research) and the three chairs of the ethics review committees of FSH and is supported by one of the secretaries of the ethics review committees.

FERP serves as a platform for exchange between the ethics review committees of the three Schools: CWBE SRT, ETCO SGW and RERC SSC. Actual ethics review of research projects is carried out by the three committees of FSH. Researchers are expected to complete the ethical review with the committee of their respective School. Each committee has its own procedures and requirements.
