Why study with us? FRT

Study at the Faculty of Religion and Theology (FRT) and be part of a melting pot of nationalities and religious backgrounds.

Choose religious and social themes at FRT and you will be better able to understand the basic principles of religions and theology. You will then be able to play a role in debates on the subject.

What is it like studying at FRT?

Academics and students of many different religious beliefs come together in our study programmes.

From Buddhists to Christians and from Muslims to atheists: we engage in dialogue with one another. Differences and controversies are not avoided but are taken seriously in dialogue and debate. That is how we train future leaders – for religious communities, education, healthcare and NGOs.

Education at Faculty of Religion and Theology

Why study at FRT?

  • Studying religion in a scientific manner

At FRT you have the opportunity to study religion, including your own tradition, in a scientific manner, from different perspectives.

  • Melting pot of backgrounds

The Faculty is a melting pot of people of many different nationalities, religious backgrounds and cultural experiences. Students see this as a huge benefit.

  • Open atmosphere

At FRT students enjoy a sympathetic environment in which they are genuinely seen as individuals. If a situation arises, teaching staff are very approachable. Students really appreciate that; it is rare in an academic environment.
