Seven bachelor's programs at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam have been awarded the 'top program' designation this year. From the Faculty of Science these are Earth Sciences and Biology.
Mechanical Engineering
There was also a good result for Mechanical Engineering, a joint bachelor's degree program of Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and the University of Twente. For the second year in a row, they score the highest on student satisfaction of all mechanical engineering programs in the Netherlands.
Independent Assessment
The Keuzegids Universiteiten is an independent guide that annually evaluates bachelor programs and universities. The guide's assessment is largely based on the results of the National Student Survey, measuring aspects such as content quality, teachers, assessment, career preparation, and atmosphere.
