VU Amsterdam Summer School 2026 4 July 2026 - 2 August 2026

Expand your horizons and make lifelong connections from across the globe in a unique educational experience!

4 July to 2 August 2026 on campus  

Our summer school is an intensive educational experience for students wishing to push their own boundaries and boost their knowledge during summer. Our programme includes a diverse range of short courses covering topics such as data science and AI, sustainability, and international law. All courses run between 4 July and 2 August 2026 for one or two weeks. You can even take more than one course if the dates don't overlap.

The tuition fee includes:  

  • Application and registration 
  • Orientation programme and welcome/goodbye event 
  • Course excursions  
  • Exclusive course content for a limited number of participants 
  • Individual/group guidance from the course organiser 
  • On-site support 
  • A transcript of records and certificate of attendance after completing the course

Required documents

In the application form you will be asked to provide the following two documents (no larger than 1 MB per document): 

  • Curriculum Vitae/Résumé (mostly important for us to understand your educational background) 
  • Transcript of records (a print screen of your most recent grades is sufficient and needs to include your name and the name of your University) 

The documents will be shared with the professors before the start of the course.

Session 1

  • Saturday 4 July to Saturday 18 July 2026, including arrival and departure days (two weeks)

Session 2a

  • Sunday 19 July to Sunday 2 August 2026, including arrival and departure days (two weeks)

Session 2b

  • Sunday 19 July to Sunday 26 July 2026, including arrival and departure days (one week)
