You can also agree a maintenance contract for your own installations.
The Real Estate Management department of FCO is responsible for all VU Amsterdam real estate, which includes the management and maintenance of the university’s buildings and technical installations. The team is also available if you want to have maintenance or repairs done to your own installations. Examples of own installations that the maintenance team could help you with:
- safety cupboards/fume cupboards
- autoclaves
- amalgam separators
- lifting materials
- cooling systems
Price list and turnaround times
The price of the modification is determined based on the hours worked and the materials used and is agreed with you in advance. Complex work will be entrusted to a project manager. In some cases it may be necessary to outsource the work. You can also request a cost estimate. The turnaround time will vary and is always determined in consultation.
