VU teacher Pim Klaasen on active blended learning

Last updated on 15 August 2024
Students prepare questions for external experts - active blended learning according to Pim Klaasen, assistant professor at the Athena Institute.

His practical example is about activating students by having them prepare questions for experts from outside the VU (i.e. the students' future colleagues). Together they discuss what the best questions are to present. This way,  reading literature and doing assignments becomes more relevant for them and the interaction is high-level.
