Management Assistant Community VU
As a Management Assistant, you bring your own unique experience and skills. What could be better than being able to share that knowledge and expertise? At the same time, you can learn from others in order to become more effective together in the work.
With our community, we offer you as a Management Assistant a platform for collaboration, support, and knowledge sharing. At the VU, more than 100 Management Assistants work. For connection and knowledge sharing, there is a so-called Management Assistant Community VU. Everyone who works as a Management Assistant (MA) can join this community.
What are our activities?
Teams page
The group comes together in a team in Microsoft Teams (Secretaresse Community VU | Algemeen | Microsoft Teams) and can use this place to ask each other questions, share tips & tricks, find information about meeting locations, and keep track of who supports whom. Sometimes trainings are organized especially for MA’s, such as training on the use of Co-pilot. Are you an MA at the VU and not yet a member of the Team, then click on the Teams link to stay informed.
Meeting Management Assistant Community
Every two months, a delegation of the community meets in the ‘Vergadering Secretaresse Community’. Here we discuss relevant VU-wide matters that we then share afterwards. These can also be trainings about, for example, AI. In this way, we share knowledge and can pass this on to our colleagues. Do you have a topic for the meeting or would you like to come and present something yourself? You are very welcome!
Annual event
Each year, a small organizing committee of several MA’s organizes the Management Assistants Event, a half-day especially for Management Assistants. The program always consists of a good mix of information and connection. A nice way to get to know each other better!
Who are we?
