You will learn how to apply active learning techniques, supervise students and design your own courses. You will be working together with colleagues, but the course will be tailored to you to help you develop your own effective style of teaching.
This course is also available in Dutch.
After the course, you will have proven ability to develop and teach courses at university level. The University Teaching Qualification (UTQ) is recognized by all Dutch universities.
This course is intended for new teachers who work at VU university. If you have more than five years’ teaching experience, you can opt for the fast-track qualification. If you have around ten years' teaching experience or are already semi-qualified, you can also do an individual qualification that enables you to demonstrate any missing components.
