The break-out lasts 24 hours (including a good night's sleep, of course). You will receive this preparation two weeks before the break-out and it will take approximately 4 hours to complete.

Language
This programme is offered in two languages (Dutch & English). The accompanying learning materials are also available in both languages.
Costs (2025/2026)
If you are a VU employee - or employed by ACTA, Amsterdam UMC location VUmc or AUC -, most of this programme cost will be covered through internal quality funds. When participating in this programme, we charge a € 135 registration fee. We advise you to talk with your manager about a possible reimbursement of the registration fee. You can check on this page if you are eligible for reimbursement.
Registration
You can register using the online registration form. Important: you are required to register with your teaching team of at least two people.
Please note: The registration for the edition on 30 June and 1 July is 29 May.
Would you like to participate in the break-out session as an external participant? Please note that there are two places available for external participants. If we receive more than two registrations from external participants, these will be processed in order of receipt and we will work with a waiting list. In that case, we will send you a message as soon as a place becomes available.
Customisation
