In this course you learn why Circular Economics is vital for tackling today’s social, health and ecological problems and what urban symbioses contribute to a circular economy. The City of Amsterdam is our testbed.
Benefitting from passionate teachers/researchers and external lecturers, you experience the fringes of Amsterdam where post-growth initiatives blossom, and you develop your own symbiotic, circular experiment.
You participate in active and creative workshops and field trips, and attend lectures from experts about the essentials and practicalities of Circular Economics.
The focus is on innovations in business, policy, and civil society that make Circular Economics thrive. We will pay special attention to how human and non-human beings can live together in urban environments, with real-world examples from the City of Amsterdam.
