Are you interested in different specialties within data science and the ethical issues that arise around data collection and use? Do you want to get a better understanding of the design and analysis of algorithms? And do you want to learn skills to analyze logistics problems?

Then the minor Data Science is just the thing for you. Check here whether you meet the admission requirements and find out how to apply. The minor Data Science is open for all students in the Bachelor Programmes Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Information Science.

    This minor is available to bachelor students of Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Information Science from the VU, other Dutch universities and other European universities. Students from other disciplines or universities, national and international, are welcome, although additional requirements may apply.

    The minor is open to exchange and Semester in Amsterdam students.

  • Registration

    Are you an exchange student or Semester in Amsterdam student? The International Office is responsible for course approval and registration. Please contact either the Incoming Exchange Team or Semester in Amsterdam Team for details:
