If you do not meet the prerequisite requirements, you will only be admitted to the Master’s program in Arts and Culture after you have successfully completed the pre-master’s programme in Arts and Culture. The pre-master’s programme is designed to compensate for any lack of prior knowledge. The Admissions Committee reviews each application and determines which students are eligible for admission.
The pre-master in Arts and Culture offers four specializations. You’ll learn about developments in the cultural sector of your choice. In just one year, you’ll be fully prepared for the Master’s programme in Arts and Culture.
Specialisations:
• Media Cultures and Environments
• Design Cultures
• Kunst, Markt en Connaisseurschap (in Dutch)
• Contemporary Art History
Pre-master’s programme
Based on your prior education, the Admissions Committee determines the structure of your pre-master’s programme. In all cases, the pre-master’s programme can only start in September.
Pre-master’s students cannot register for modules themselves; this is handled by the Education Office.
